Bonanza SUCKED. To much "rich land baron with an attitude stuff going on".. On the other hand, I would really enjoy sitting down for a beer with Festus and Doc at Ms Kittys place.

Yup.. " Little Joe !! He's whats for dinner !!" My sister felt the same way.

What about Lucas McCain......"The Rifleman"? I loved that show. The sheriff in town couldn't take care of business, but Lucas would. And did you noticed he rarely killed anybody? Usually he would kick their butt in a fist fight or wound them with a rifle shot. And the writers of the show always used this line: "now get on home son"...."but Pa!".

We used to count how many times that kid said "Pa" and it would get up into the 25-30 range each show.

Ben did seem to like his boys a little too much. I guess I misunderstood what he meant when he talked about feeding all those hired hands in the bunk house. Think he imposed a don't ask don't tell policy on cattle drives?

Now you've got me wondering about all the old shows. Was Opie actually a victim? Was he being passed around amongst Floyd et al?
